"What the lion is to
the Cat the Mastiff is to the Dog, the noblest of the family; he stands alone, and all others sink
before him".

Amber at home

When my wife Nicola brought Amber home, and I walked into the house and saw her  (Amber that is) I nearly had a coronary, I thought Godzilla had come to stay,  we already had two dogs, a Jack Russell and a Jack Russell cross. One of our friends had bought her after the death of his Rotweiler and had offered to sell her to my wife as he wished to return to his former dogs breed and line.  I put up a stern protest about having Amber  as I was concerned for my young son and other small dogs, suffice to say that my wife ignored my protests and Amber was brought home permanently.  Amber gets on well with children (and me!) and did so with my other dogs.

Yours truly on holiday in Devon with Amber who was 7 weeks pregnant (oh! my wife and son came as well).

Since Amber was pregnant she has not got on well with our other  dogs which we have had to  re-home with my mother .
